Install on both devices

Run the command for each device’s operating system below. Installation needs administrator privileges to configure startup services, virtual network interfaces, and routes. Windows users should open PowerShell as administrator.

macOS
curl -fsSL https://dl.nszeno.com/daemon/macos-installer | bash
Linux
curl -fsSL https://dl.nszeno.com/daemon/linux-installer | bash
Windows · PowerShell
irm https://dl.nszeno.com/daemon/windows-installer | iex

Run installation commands in your terminal. Administrator privileges are required for startup services, virtual network interfaces, and routes. On Windows, run PowerShell as administrator.

Connect the dashboard to a host

Open the dashboard. For a remote daemon, add its IPv4 host address and the installation password shown by the installer. Check that the host is reachable and that the Zeno service is running.

03

Find the remote Peer ID

Open the remote device’s Host page and copy its Peer ID. A host IP identifies the daemon managed by the dashboard; a Peer ID identifies the device used by proxy, forwarding, and networking configurations.

04

Choose your connection

Use Proxy for application traffic, with SOCKS5 as one access method; Forwarding for a specific TCP or UDP service; or Networking for a virtual network. The guides below explain the fields for each configuration.
